Nibub CEO and Sri Lankan Student Innovators Meet Prime Minister After APICTA 2024
The Nibub CEO from St. Joseph’s College, along with three student participants from different schools who represented Sri Lanka at APICTA 2024, met Dr. Harini Amarasuriya to present their innovative projects and share their experience at the international competition.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister appreciated their efforts and highlighted the importance of encouraging young innovators to strengthen Sri Lanka’s future in technology and digital transformation. She also appreciated FITIS for organizing and conducting YCS 2024, which provided a valuable platform for student innovators to showcase their work.
The discussion also reflected on the value of student-led innovation and how such achievements can inspire more youth to engage in technology, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving for national development.
